Tejas Ambarani is a highly skilled product designer based in Canada with a diverse background that has given him a unique perspective and appreciation for diverse viewpoints. With a Master's in Visual Communication (M.Des) from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor's Degree (B.Des) from Raffles Design Institute, Tejas has a solid background in graphic design and holds a certification in User Experience and User Interface Design (UI UX) from École intuit.lab. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with professionals from various fields such as advertising, architecture, business, curation, conservation, design, digital media, education, health & wellness, research, and technology, working on research-led projects.

Tejas's multidisciplinary design approach and holistic view enable him to create exceptional user experiences and interfaces tailored to users' behavior and requirements. He is passionate about combining design with technology to create innovative and intuitive solutions that have a meaningful impact. Tejas's dedication to his craft and commitment to user-centered design has led him to create designs that not only look great but also function effectively. 2022: Presented panels on “SpokenWeb: Curating Literary Sound in a Digital Environment” at Digital Humanities (DH) conference in May 2022.

2020: Received $2500 PLLC Teaching Fellow Training Bursary from the Peter Lougheed Leadership College.

2019: Exhibited a public mental health installation, “Take a Pause,” within the University of Alberta’s Rutherford Library.

2018: The design magazine INSITE featured “The State of Architecture: Practices & Processes in India” on February 2018.

2017: India’s Best Design Project Award, 2017, at the Indi Pool Show, 2017 as a part of Kahani Designworks for the exhibition "The State of Architecture."

2016: Won the prestigious Black Elephant and the Blue Elephant, for Best of Show & Best Exhibition design at the Kyoorius Design Awards, 2016 as a part of Kahani Designworks for the “The State of Architecture.”

2016: Category Winner, at the CII Design Excellence Awards, 2016 as part of Kahani Designworks on the exhibition "The State of Architecture."

2016: “The State of Architecture” exhibition was displayed at the National Gallery of Modern Art from January to April, 2016.
